Nancy Vargas presented "Environmentaally Friendly Holiday Floral Designs."  Nancy holds a BA in Interior Design and a Masters in Architecture.  She has studied landscape architecture, architectural history and ubran planning as well as receiveing formal training in floral design from Longwood Gardens, Temple University and the "Flower School" at the London studio of Paula Pryke.  Nancy focused on techniques, approaches, and materials which are earth friendly while still producing spectactular results for holiday decorating.

 

Thank you to our hostess, Lisa Tavakoli and her assistants for a wonderful spread, and to Anne McCarthy for the buffet floral arrangement.  A special thanks to all members who brought a plant for the horticultural exhibit and Elaine McGrail, who contributed three pots of ornamental peppers for the drawing.
